New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading financial services and lending software provider in its search for a Software Account Executive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-performing individual with exceptional relationship-building and sales skills, capable of quickly establishing trusted adviser status with key stakeholders and influencers.
Role Summary:
You will be responsible for identifying and advancing strategic software solution opportunities within the commercial lending and asset finance sectors. Working with virtual teams, you will research, shape, and drive sales engagements from initial identification through to closure, across both new and existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
Guide clients through complex buying processes
Lead sales of strategic, enterprise-level software solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally to support client engagement and deal progression
Present to C-level executives and contribute to proposal development
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience selling enterprise software solutions into banking and financial services, ideally within commercial banking and/or specialist finance
Proven track record of exceeding annual sales quotas of $2–5M+
Experience in selling complex, integrated software solutions at CXO level
Strong presentation and proposal development skills
Background in commercial lending, asset finance, and software-led portfolio improvement
Salary: £80,000 – £100,000 + excellent bonus and benefits
Location: UK – Flexible (Remote)
We strongly favour candidates with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
